Secret Brangelina Wedding!
Alright, we all hope this one is true! Here is the latest news on Brad and Angie having a secret wedding this summer. This has no mention of the previously reported secret wedding they were planning to have on a boat, but it does sound like a compromise between the previous reports of what Brad and Angelina’s preferences are, which makes it more believable to me because they seem really good about compromising. Much to my surprise, this does mention that Angelina is now considering having her father give her away! Go Angie! Previously, the rumor was that he may be invited to the wedding, but that her brother was going to give her away. For Brangelina fans, I will have to say that this one is a must read!
-And I’m told Angelina – who has been estranged from Voight since 2002 after a family rift – has handed her father an olive branch and asked him to walk her down the aisle.
“Since they started talking by phone in January, Angie has thought about asking Jon to give her away,” a friend says.
“When Angie and Brad started seriously discussing a wedding, the issue of Angie reconciling with her dad came up again and again.
“Angie came around after her brother intervened and strongly urged her to bury the hatchet.”
Although a quiet wedding is planned, there will be a smattering of stars.
“George Clooney and Matt Damon will be going, but other than a few film executive friends, it will be a Hollywood-free zone,” adds the friend.
“Angelina and Brad want a low-key ceremony. No one will know it’s a wedding until they arrive.

I’ve heard in a few different articles that Angelina Jolie has said the only time her and Brad argue is over politics. An incident of them reportedly having some words at a restaurant not too long ago that resulted in Angie throwing wine in Brad’s face then walking away, was supposed to be a result of one of their political tussles. Angie says “Brad is political and one of the reasons we came together is that he is very aware. Perhaps he is more outspoken than me, and I like that. It is the only time we argue.” She also mentions “A lot of time is spent arguing over things like justice. I am in favor of a harder line than he is.” I find this very believable as my perception of Angie is that she is very big on things like loyalty and what’s wrong is wrong what’s right is right and if a person’s wrong they need to feel the punishment. Look at her relationship with her father and the rumors about her relationship with Brad’s mom. I do agree that Brad’s mom needed to back away from Jennifer Aniston a bit when Brad and Angie officially got together, although many seem to have a differing opinion. Not that I think she necessarily needed to completely cut off ties with Aniston, just that any holidays need not be spent with an ex-daughter-in-law. I would have been livid as well if I were Angie.
Boxer Claims he “Snubbed” Brad and Angie
Is it just me, or does Mr. Ricky Hatton seem to be bragging about the fact that he claims he “snubbed” Brad and Angie. That seems like a rather silly thing to gloat about if so. Maybe, he’s just proud that Brad and Angie may have wanted to meet him and I’m being cynical…
“Ricky Hatton tells Soccer AM how snubbed one of the most famous couples in the world. Hatton tells Soccer AM that shortly after being KO’d by Floyd Mayweather Jr last December, he walked right past Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Hatton admits he felt like a “Clown” for snubbing them.
Hatton tells Soccer Am: “It was the first fight Angelina Jolie had been to apparently and she couldn’t get her head round the viciousness of the knockout.”
Hatton went on to speak on how he walked right past them after they asked him how he was doing? Hatton stated: “Needless to say I was back in the changing room and my head was in bits and they were both in the changing room as well. They said ‘How you doing Ricky?’ and I just went ‘Alright’, and walked past. I felt a right clown after that!”
Hatton says Jolie seemed nervous, stating: “She just wanted to meet me. They were dead quiet and it was if they were dead nervous!”

It still seems like there are a lot of people out there who think that Angie is a man stealer and Brad is a cheater, but I believe their fans know better. Angelina just seems so honest. I really don’t think the woman cares enough about what people think of her to lie about it. So, here’s an article straight from the horse’s mouth.
-For the first time, Angelina Jolie has described what happened between her and Brad Pitt on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith – and she insists she never had any intention of breaking up his marriage to Jennifer Aniston.
When she first met her costar on the set of the thriller in 2003, “I didn’t know much about exactly where Brad was in his personal life,” Jolie, 31, says in the January issue of Vogue, according to excerpts published in the New York Post. “But it was clear he was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects.
“And so we were both living, I suppose, very full lives. … I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship. I certainly wasn’t. I was quite content to be a single mom.”
But “Brad was a huge surprise to me. I, like most people, had a very distant impression of him from … the media,” she says.
“Because of the film, we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened. This headline can be interpreted as having a negative connotation. It initially sounded to me like the media was trying to make it sound like Brangelina are some spoiled cheap celebrities. Keep in mind that these two reportedly have a net worth of $180 million, donated $8 million to their foundation last year, and probably give away more money than most people will see in a lifetime. A few years back when they first got together Brad Pitt was quoted as saying that Angie gives away so much money that sometimes he thinks she only works so she can give more money away. That will explain why her net worth is only estimated at $35 million even though she is commanding close to $20 million a pic. Anyhoo, here is a possible reason they say the stars people asked for the discount:
“sources close to the couple say they didn’t ask for the discount because they couldn’t afford the price, they simply wanted to stick to the budget for Tree of Life.”
They also mentioned:
“Angelina has also been in touch with the property managers about holding a fundraising event at the resort, another possible reason for asking for the discount.”
Keep in mind also that celebrities get free things all of the time and the resort also have lots of ways to make money off of Brad and Angie staying there.

If his mom really is urging him to marry her I think that’s great, since previously it was reported that Jane (Brad’s mom) didn’t get along so well with Angie. It was even written that Angie told Jane during a phone conversation that if she did not loosen her ties with Jennifer Aniston that Jane would not be allowed to see Shiloh! So this news, I believe is great and not so great… It seems like Brangie can really compromise on things and that they enjoy doing things to make each other happy. They also seem to have a deep enough connection where they are understanding of each other. With that said, I think Brad realizes that Angie will marry him when she’s ready and he seems to be alright with waiting to marry also. So, if they are both happy with their relationship that way, everyone else mother or not, needs to butt out. Of course, his mom thinks she is advising him the right way, as all us mothers do what we like to think is best for our families, whether or not it really is. Monsters and Critics, People, wrote an article entitled “The Brangelina Bunch, rough and rowdy rugrats”. I find this disturbing because they are taking normal family behaviors and making it seem like Brad and Angie are bad parents. I understand that some people actually make a living off of scrutinizing celebrity behavior and being completely judgmental. However, these negative articles can potentially ruin the lives of innocent celebrities. Look at Britney Spears: She trips and everyone chastises her for ALMOST dropping her son. She drives with her son on her lap (Yes, we know this is wrong, but I believe this was very innocent for her. She is from the south and she said they do that down there) and everyone calls her a bad mother. I think a large part of her mental breakdown was hearing all of this negativity about her. Imagine, every move you make as a new mother being scrutinized, judged, and publicized to the whole world. We all make mistakes, especially as new parents. That young lady must be a true fighter for her to be making it the way she is.
